Unlinked Mention
A brand name mentioned in an article or page without an accompanying hyperlink back to the brand's site.
Why it still counts for AI visibility
Unlike traditional SEO, where a link often carries most of the value, an AI system reading an article registers a brand mention and its surrounding context whether or not that mention is hyperlinked back to the brand's site. The text itself is the signal, not just the link.
