Positive Mention
A brand mention classified as favorable — one where the AI's language endorses, recommends, or praises the brand relative to alternatives.
How it works
A mention is scored positive when the surrounding language does the evaluative work — phrases like "best option for," "stands out for," or "widely praised for" — not just because the brand appears near favorable words elsewhere in the answer. The positive-mention rate (positive mentions divided by all mentions) is one of the core inputs into an overall AI sentiment score.
