Wikidata Entity
A structured record in Wikidata, a free, collaboratively edited knowledge base, describing a specific person, organization, product or concept.
Why it's a common reference point
Wikidata is a widely used, machine-readable data source that many downstream knowledge graphs and AI systems draw on. Having an accurate, well-maintained Wikidata entity gives a brand a verified structured record beyond its own website.
Getting one right
A Wikidata entity needs to meet the project's notability and sourcing standards, and its claims should be backed by independent citations — it isn't a self-published profile a brand can freely edit at will.
