Recommendation Rate
The percentage of relevant answers in which a brand isn't just mentioned but actively singled out as the preferred or top choice.
How it differs from inclusion
Being named in a list of five options and being named as the recommended pick out of those five are very different outcomes, and recommendation rate isolates the second one. A brand can have a high inclusion rate — it shows up whenever the category is discussed — and still have a low recommendation rate if it's rarely the one the model actually endorses.
Why it matters
Recommendation is the highest-value mention type, since it's the version most likely to directly influence a buying decision. It's also usually the hardest to move, since it requires the model to have formed a clear preference rather than just recognizing the brand exists.
