Mention Position
Where a brand is mentioned or emphasized relative to others within a generated answer.
Why order matters
In a conversational answer, the brand named first — or given the most detailed treatment — is typically the one being recommended most strongly, even if several brands are mentioned. Position carries meaning that a flat "was it mentioned, yes or no" check misses.
How it's tracked
Position is usually logged per prompt, per engine, alongside the mention itself, so a brand's average position (and how it trends) becomes a trackable metric in its own right.
