Mention Frequency

The raw count of times a brand is mentioned across a set of tracked prompts and engine runs within a given period.

How it differs from related metrics

Mention frequency is a straight count, not a percentage — it can rise simply because more prompts were added to the tracked set, or because the same prompt was re-run more often. That makes it useful for spotting raw volume trends, but it needs to be read alongside prompt coverage (breadth across distinct prompts) and share of voice (relative to competitors) to know whether the volume actually reflects growing visibility.
