Gemini Workspace Integration
Gemini's embedding inside Google Workspace apps — Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive — to draft, summarize, and answer questions using a user's own files and messages.
What it is
Rather than being a separate destination, Gemini in Workspace runs inside the apps people already use for work, drafting emails, summarizing documents, or answering questions grounded in a user's Drive content. Some of these interactions can also pull in web results when Workspace content alone isn't enough to answer.
Relevance to brand tracking
Most Gemini-in-Workspace usage is grounded in private, user-owned documents rather than the open web, so it's largely invisible to external AI-visibility tracking and doesn't represent a discoverable channel for brand mentions. It's still useful context: a meaningful share of Gemini usage happens on this private, non-trackable surface rather than in the public-facing Gemini app.
