Why the structure helps extraction
A clearly numbered or bulleted list of named options is straightforward for an AI system to parse and reuse when answering a "best of" or recommendation-style prompt, compared to the same information buried in unstructured prose.
Where it can backfire
A listicle padded with low-relevance entries just to hit a round number, or one that reads as thinly disguised advertising, is easier for readers and trust-weighing systems alike to discount than a shorter, more selective list.
