Kagi Assistant
An AI chat assistant built into Kagi, a paid, ad-free search engine, that answers questions using Kagi's own search results with citations.
What it is
Kagi is a subscription search engine — no ads, user-funded — aimed at people who want more control over ranking and privacy, and Kagi Assistant layers a citation-backed chat interface on top of Kagi's own search index. Because Kagi is paid, its user base skews toward power users, developers, and privacy-conscious searchers.
Relevance to brand tracking
Kagi's total user base is small compared to mainstream engines, so it's a low-priority tracking target for most brands, but its users tend to be highly engaged and influential in tech-adjacent communities.
